I have used this site before, but was surprised to see that there are only nine entries for NYC. Mars 2112 is here.

Judging from the pictures and the comments on the blog, this store could be a curious choice.

This book covers the entire state. There are several books like this, but the quality is totally dependent on the author. Many times there is more infor on where to eat and what B and B to stay in than the type of info I am searching for. Found this review http://www.journal-register.com/features/gnnlifestyle_story_242145024.html

lists about 50 NYC oddball attractions on RoadsideAmerica.com. I think the 9 you're referring to are just current editor recommendations.

I should have put some specific inquiry questions right about here.

*What types of things would young teens find of interest in New York City?
*What type of eateries would be as much nourishment as experience?
*What can be done in such a brief amount of time in such a huge place?
*How can teens walk away from a trip to NYC with a deeper understanding and appreciation of their connection to mankind?
*What are schools on the cutting edge doing to meet the needs of 21st centurty learners?
*What can we do to frontload the experience?
